Despite perceptions of the crypto industry, the reality is that through bold local leadership, Miami-Dade County has secured over $90 million for its Anti-Gun Violence and Prosperity Initiatives Trust Fund—an unprecedented investment supporting youth employment, gun violence prevention, mentoring, community policing, and social services.
Meanwhile, the City of Miami generated over $5 million for affordable housing from the CityCoins MiamiCoin project donation, showcasing the potential for new revenue generation from this burgeoning industry if positioned properly.
